I have a successful upgrade to Windows 10 bit upgraded from Windows 7 home, but wish to create an ISO for backup. The upgrade apparently went without a hitch.
First ran MCT as regular user gaining Admin rights. Chose "create install media" , then chose "ISO". When I went to begin download, the window immediately disappears - no error message unless it happened too quickly for me to see. Then ran MCT by right-clicking and "Run as admin" choosing a different location to which to download.
Exactly the same results. After some time maybe several hours , both filenames appear in "Recent" in File Explorer but are not in their locations. Thought possibly both might be downloading to some temporary place and would be moved, but it's now been hours since then.
